Mission Statement

It is our goal to bring dignity, respect, education and training into the lives of severely, multiply disabled children and adults.

We believe that people with disabilities:

  • are valued members of their families and communities
  • should exercise their full civil and human rights as citizens in their local communities and the state of Illinois
  • should make choices for themselves
  • have the opportunity to grow and develop all through their lives
  • participate in all aspects of community life including home, school, program training and recreation
  • should value self-sufficiency and personal security
  • will experience satisfaction in all areas of living
  • should share strength in relationships with families, peers and others
  • have a role in decision-making concerning future direction and priorities of the service and support system
  • are valued human beings who deserve dignity and respect.
