New Horizon Center equips each of it's classrooms with a Promethean board, an interactive white-board that promotes active engagement and collaboration in the classroom. Classrooms are also provided with tablets for teachers to engage with student's on an individual level, offering a wide variety of apps and tools for education.
Music Program
Music is used as a helpful tool for teaching students with disabilities the practical skills needed to help them function more fully in their daily lives. Music enables the largest and most diverse group of students to become a cohesive social group. Our music teacher leads groups of students in a fun, social environment that stimulates the brain, allows for self-expression and creativity, and fosters connection and communication.
